Hey there, Fiat fans!
今日はアメリカ国内、それもWest Coast と East Coastの両方でFIAT 500を楽しむオーナーたちのリアルな声を集めてみました！
カリフォルニアの青空の下も、ニューヨークの高層ビルの谷間も、FIAT 500は“笑顔を運ぶクルマ”。でも、走り方や楽しみ方は地域でちょっとずつ違うのが面白いんです。
【West Coast】西海岸編

I drive an Abarth 500 and take it to Willow Springs and Buttonwillow Raceway a few times a year. Out here, it’s all about the car community.
The 500 might not be a powerhouse, but the way it handles is so addictive. Plus, everyone loves checking out the custom wraps and exhausts in the paddock.
And driving home on the Pacific Coast Highway after a track day? Unbeatable.

My 500c isn’t an Abarth, but I’ve done autocross at Qualcomm Stadium and even a beginner’s track day at Fontana.
People were surprised how quick it can change directions. Sure, it’s not fast in a straight line, but I had the biggest grin.
Plus, it’s perfect for cruising downtown LA or posing at Cars and Coffee meets!

I’m into modding my Abarth. Coilovers, intake, tune — you name it.
I run my car at Sonoma Raceway and Thunderhill. Even though we’re not breaking lap records, the 500 is a riot in tight corners.
Out here, the scene is half track, half car show. The 500 fits right in both worlds.

【East Coast】東海岸編

Living in Brooklyn, the 500 is perfect for tight parking and crazy traffic. But I’ve taken my Abarth to Lime Rock Park a couple of times.
It’s wild how the same car that squeezes into Manhattan spots can also tear around a racetrack.
People at the track always smile when they see a little Fiat mixing it up with Mustangs and BMWs!

I daily-drive my 500 Sport, snow and all. It’s surprisingly good in the snow with winter tires!
In summer, I’ve done a couple of track days at Palmer Motorsports Park. It’s not the fastest, but the fun factor is huge.
Plus, the Fiat community here is small but super supportive.

Out here, there’s a ton of German and American cars at track days. But showing up with a Fiat 500 always gets people talking.
I’ve run my Abarth at Summit Point. It’s perfect for learning car control because you have to keep your momentum up.
Plus, it’s cheap on brakes and tires, which is important because track days aren’t cheap on the East Coast!
（訳：こっちはトラックデイに行くとドイツ車かアメ車ばっかりだけど、500で行くと必ずみんな興味津々で話しかけてくるんだよね。サミットポイントでAbarthを走らせたけど、モメンタムを落とさずに走らないといけないから、車のコントロールを学ぶにはぴったりだよ。それにブレーキもタイヤも安く済むし、東海岸はトラックデイ自体が結構高いから助かるよ！）

アメリカ全土で愛されるFIAT 500。

West Coastは陽気でカーカルチャー色が強く、トラックデイもカーショーもどちらも全力で楽しむ人が多い。カスタム率も高く「見た目も走りも」というスタイル。

East Coastはやや実用派で、都市部での取り回しの良さを評価しつつ、トラックデイでしっかり走りを楽しむ人も。冬の話題が多いのも東らしいところ。
それでも共通しているのは、“FIAT 500はドライバーを笑顔にするクルマ”という点。アメリカでも、小さな500は大きな楽しみを運んでいるようです！
